Leadership Development that actually shifts behaviour
We work alongside senior teams and emerging leaders to build the kind of capability that survives pressure, inspires trust, and translates into results your board can see.
The gap between managing and leading costs more than you think
What we hear from organisations
Talented managers who struggle to delegate or coach their direct reports effectively
Senior leaders operating in silos, unable to align around a shared strategic direction
High performer turnover because people leave managers, not companies
Promotion decisions based on technical skill rather than leadership readiness
Change initiatives that stall because middle management cannot carry the message
What shifts when leadership develops
Decisions happen faster because leaders trust each other and communicate with clarity
Engagement scores rise as people feel genuinely supported and challenged
Succession pipelines fill naturally from within the organisation
Conflict becomes productive rather than corrosive, driving innovation forward
Strategy execution accelerates because leaders own outcomes instead of tasks
How we work
Four phases from diagnosis to sustained capability
1
Deep discovery
We conduct structured interviews, observe leadership in action, and review organisational data to understand where the real leverage points sit. No generic questionnaires — every insight is context-specific.
2
Programme design
We build a bespoke development arc that blends live workshops, one-to-one coaching, peer learning sets, and on-the-job application challenges tailored to your sector and culture.
3
Immersive delivery
Sessions are experiential rather than lecture-based. Leaders practise difficult conversations, rehearse strategic thinking, and receive real-time feedback from facilitators and peers alike.
4
Embed and measure
We track behavioural shifts through 360-degree reviews, stakeholder feedback, and business KPIs. Quarterly check-ins ensure gains hold long after the programme concludes.
Our programmes
Flexible leadership development for every stage of growth
Executive leadership intensive
A six-month programme for C-suite and senior directors focused on strategic influence, board-level communication, and leading through complexity. Includes monthly coaching sessions, two residential workshops, and a personal leadership narrative project that clarifies purpose and impact.
Emerging leaders accelerator
Designed for high-potential managers making the transition from individual contributor to people leader. Over twelve weeks, participants build core competencies in delegation, feedback, emotional intelligence, and team motivation through structured practice and peer accountability.
Team alignment sprint
A concentrated three-day intervention for leadership teams that need to rebuild trust, resolve persistent friction, or align around a new strategic direction. We facilitate honest dialogue, surface hidden assumptions, and co-create team operating agreements that stick.
Ongoing coaching retainer
Sustained one-to-one coaching for leaders who want a thinking partner through high-stakes decisions, career transitions, or organisational change. Sessions are scheduled fortnightly and supplemented with between-session reflection prompts and progress tracking.

Dr. Fiona Hargreaves
Founding director and lead facilitator
Fiona spent fifteen years in operational leadership roles within financial services and the public sector before founding Leadership Success Stream. She holds a doctorate in organisational psychology from the University of Edinburgh and is an accredited executive coach with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.
Her approach blends evidence-based frameworks with the pragmatism of someone who has sat in the chair herself — navigating restructures, leading cross-functional teams, and making high-stakes decisions under genuine uncertainty. Clients consistently describe her style as challenging yet deeply supportive.
Fiona is supported by a small network of associate facilitators, each bringing specialist expertise in areas such as neuroscience of leadership, systemic team coaching, and inclusive leadership practice.
Common questions
Answers before you ask
Every engagement starts with our deep discovery phase. We interview stakeholders at multiple levels, review internal data such as engagement surveys and performance reviews, and observe leadership behaviours in real meetings. The programme content, case studies, and practice scenarios are then built from your actual organisational context rather than generic examples.
For our flagship executive intensive, expect roughly two days per month over six months. The emerging leaders accelerator requires one full day every fortnight for twelve weeks. We deliberately spread learning over time so participants can apply insights between sessions and return with real experiences to debrief.
Absolutely. We deliver a blend of in-person residentials and virtual sessions. Our virtual facilitation approach is designed for genuine interaction, not passive webinars. We use breakout exercises, digital whiteboards, and structured peer coaching pairs to maintain engagement and depth regardless of location.
We agree success metrics at the outset — these might include 360-degree feedback scores, employee engagement data, retention rates, or specific business outcomes like project delivery timelines. We conduct baseline and post-programme assessments and provide a comprehensive impact report at the end of each engagement.
Our clients range from mid-sized firms with fifty employees to large public sector bodies with thousands of staff. The common thread is a genuine commitment from the top to invest in leadership capability. We scale our approach accordingly, whether that means coaching a single leadership team or designing an organisation-wide development architecture.
